What is happening with this oil spill is one of the saddest things I have ever seen. I would put it up there with 911and katrina. What is sadder is that the politicians in this country would use this for pushing their agendas.

We may not be able to stop the leak at this time, but we sure as hell can waive the Jones act and let other countries with expertise come and help. Why are they not you ask? Well lets think about this. Charlie is soaking up all the air time for free campaigning. Obama is using this to push cap and trade. I don't care what side your on politically. I think we can all agree that something stinks hear and it is not just the oil or all the fish on our beaches. I'm not a drill baby drill shouter, but until we find something better, we must first stop the leak, 2 clean the beaches, 3 find a way to drill safely off shore. But for the love of God lets not spend our time talking about wind mills until we have this under control! Have we gone so far off the reservation that we can no longer come together during a disaster? We did it on 9-11. we did it during kortrina. But now where is the leadership that can bring this country together. When there is more compassion talking about a golf game, the only thing that tells me is we are in big trouble. When entertaining a Beatle (not the bug) takes top priority, not only are we in trouble but I'd say we're screwed. The selfishness I am seeing from all our politicians is starting to make me sick. And what's worse it they don't give a flying fig how we feel. We have the power to set it right. The question is do we have the balls? God I hope so, for all our sakes.
